- Minimum drill Requirements
A ball, a field and some cones or small items to use as cones.
- Recommended positions
Wingers and full-backs but also great for offensive players in general.
- Purpose
Crossing of course is very frequent in matches. And as a winger or full- back being able to make that deadly inch perfect cross, is a game decider. Many teams’ most dangerous weapon is crossing, and is used a lot against low blocks especially. This drill is a way to practice a standard cross.
For even better results you can, if you are able to, pair this drill with our Finishing from Cross Drill. This requires a training partner that wants to work on his finishing from crosses.
